Peter McKenna has worked a journalist for more than 30 years. After graduating from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, he started an alternative weekly newsmagazine that focused on environmental and social issues. Later, he worked as the editor of financial publications in New York and wrote articles for The New York Times, Newsday and other newspapers.
As a teenager, Mr. McKenna was inspired by John F. Kennedy’s commitment to excellence and the manner in which he governed this country. He has devoted the last five years to understanding how the loss of such an enlightened man changed our political system, economy, and culture.
Mr. McKenna is an avid ocean sailor and lives in New York with his wife and little brown dog.
